Opening of Massimago's Padova Centre together with Business e via Italy

22 September: Massimago opens it's Padova business centre and announces its partnership with Business e via Italy to promote foreign investments in Veneto and help Italian companies reach international trading partners.

The partnership is the first step for Massimago 1883 to develop an international meeting point for doing business in the Veneto region. The unique location is part of the historical Padova wall from 13th century (Mura Duecentesche).

A report from IFC and the World Bank finds that Padova is creating more opportunity for local businesses through regulatory reforms that help boost competitiveness and set standards for good practices. For example, starting a business or registering property in Padua is faster and slightly cheaper than in Rome, as is importing or exporting.

“The Veneto Region believes firmly in the importance of international comparisons to keep growing and improving steadily,” said Vendemiano Sartor, Veneto’s Regional Government Councillor for Economy, Development, Research, and Innovation.
